Small dance area however the vibe is good with crowd of people who really want to have a great night out. Entrance price is a bit high for 15 pounds anyway its central London. DJ plays good dance music. Stereos are fantastic.
Under the week it’s not so crowded and only one part of the area is opened. But atmosphere was good, I did like/dislike a couple of songs (like most clubs)
Following our night out a few weeks ago for a friend’s birthday, we were impressed by the staff’s attention to the safety of their customers. My friend happened to have drunk too much, and the bouncers made sure he was safe by keeping him under both our and their watch. They really made sure he was safe until we took him home. Excellent place, I would honestly recommend :)
Friday 3 of March. My friend and I were excited to dance and enjoy the lively atmosphere. We had a great time socializing with other patrons, and the music was just our style. However, our experience was soured by the unexpected behavior of the manager. At one point, the manager approached us and asked us to calm down in a extremely rude way, even though we were simply enjoying ourselves on the dance floor. This was confusing and surprising, especially given the club's advertised motto of "WE LIKE TO PARTY!" on their website. Despite this, we still had a great time dancing and chatting with other patrons. Unfortunately, later in the evening, the manager returned and asked us to leave the club without providing any explanation. We were being yelled at aggressively, and she never approached us in a normal way to explain what we had done wrong. This left us feeling confused and frustrated, as we were simply dancing in our own space and not causing any trouble. To our surprise, the people around us were equally puzzled and thought it was unfair that we were being kicked out, as they couldn't see any reason for it. While we did have fun at Rumba and appreciated the chance to dance and socialize, the inconsistent management and lack of clarity around acceptable behavior on the dance floor left a negative impression. Overall, it was an enjoyable but ultimately disappointing night out. We hope that Rumba can address these issues in the future and create a more welcoming environment for all patrons.
